Board of Directors
The APC Board of Directors represents the four industry segments of the association: Growers; Shellers; Manufacturers; and Allied/Brokers/International.
Board seats are allocated based on the proportionate dues paid by each segment. The current Board is comprised of 35 Directors – 10 growers; 10 shellers; 10 manufacturers; and 5 allied/broker/international representatives. A four-person Executive Committee oversees the day-to-day operations. There are also two at-large members on the board representing the Peanut Foundation and the National Peanut Board.
The APC Export Division Board of Directors
The industry’s international marketing programs are administered by the Export Division Board of Directors. Membership on the Board includes six growers and six shellers. In addition, six representatives of the National Peanut Board serve in an advisory capacity. An Advisory Subcomittee makes recommendations to the Export Board with regard to the development of the peanut industry’s annual Unified Export Strategy (UES).
