It’s here!!!  The new and improved APC website at www.peanutsusa.com!

We've provided this document as a brief guide to help our members navigate the features of the new site that are specific to our members. There is much content here for you, and we to get that in your hands the easiest way possible. 

Click the Login link on the top blue navigation bar:


 
Your login is your e-mail address on file with APC and your temporary password is APC1940 or apc1940, which is case sensitive (a quirk of the information transfer, we apologize for the confusion), so if one doesn’t work, try the other. (If you have multiple emails and do not know which one is on file with APC, simply send and email to info@peanutsusa.com with your information and company info (if applicable), and we'll retrieve it for you). 

Once you are successfully logged in, click on the Update Profile link:



This will take you to a new page. For security reasons, you will be prompted to change your password upon your first login. PLEASE DO THIS. Upon completion, you will be redirected to your profile information.  

Take a few minutes to verify and edit your profile information. 

If you are your organization's primary contact, you can update your organizational information. The primary contact is listed with the organization information on the profile under the “Linked Organizations Information”.

A new feature of the website is the ability to choose which email communications from us you wish to receive. If you wish to continue to receive all emails, then no action is required. To make changes, please scroll to the bottom of the profile page till you see the section “E-mail Opt Out”.

Once logged in, you can review lots of useful information provided specifically for APC Members. You will also discover several new features on www.peanutsusa.com, such as:

• Social Media: APC and Peanut Butter for the Hungry have joined the social media platforms of Facebook and Twitter. Like us, follow us, and stay updated on all the latest news and events.
• Key industry information and statistics: A greater depth of industry information from food safety issues, allergy research and contacts, nutrition, and export statistics.
• Member Spotlight: Every few months we will highlight an APC member and the activities of their company. For our first Member Spotlight, we speak with the Georgia Peanut Commission which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary.
• Advertising Opportunities: Online advertising is now available on www.peanutsusa.com on the Members Only section of the website, as well as on the print and online versions of the Membership Directory.
• Job Bank: APC now has an industry job bank, where you can list available jobs in the peanut industry as well as search for new jobs, create job agents, etc.
