International Peanut Forum

Please note that following the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), travel restrictions have been put in place by many companies and countries.  On March 11 the Hungarian government issued a decree banning indoor events of more than 100 people.  We therefore had no option but to postpone the planned event.

After liaising with the hotel and following discussions with industry, we are pleased to announce at the International Peanut Forum will now be held at the Corinthia Hotel, Budapest during April 28-30, 2021.  We have offered all registered delegates the option to request a refund or roll their fees forward to the deferred event.

Details on sponsorship opportunities still available can be found on the sponsorship page.  IPF registration for 2021 and the designated hotel booking sites are being worked on and we will advise when they are open to book.  Please book your accommodation with the Corinthia Hotel first through the link on our website in order to take advantage of the $200 discount on IPF registration - it will not be available to you if you book with 3rd-party hotel or travel services! You will need the Corinthia's confirmation code to validate your disoount. If you would like to be added to the IPF mailing list, please contact

The International Peanut Forum is a key networking and conference event held every two years. It is an ideal opportunity to network with the whole supply chain, from farmers, shellers, exporters, brokers, dealers, manufacturers, testing laboratories, equipment and other service suppliers from around the world.

The event will commence on the afternoon of Wednesday April 28 when you can meeting with suppliers & buyers prior to the main opening of the event with that evening's Welcome Reception.  The conference sessions will be held during the mornings of Thursday April 29 and Friday April 30, followed by lunch.  The afternoons are free for you to set up individual business meetings.  A second networking Reception will be held on the evening of Thursday April 29.

The theme for the postponed event will remain "Inspiration to Innovation".  The conference session program will focus on key issues for our industry and will cover topics of interest to all segments and personnel, including: peanut nutrition; climate change and aflatoxin; EU strategy on pesticides; new product launches, packaging sustainability; and the popular supply and demand panel.

The 2018 IPF was held at the Hilton Hotel, Athens, Greece during April 11-13 and was attended by over 350 delegates from 30 countries around the world. The theme of the 2018 conference was “Peanuts – the Protein for Tomorrow’s Champions”, and with session topics ranging from nutrition and allergy research to new product launches and supply & demand, the IPF had something for everyone, whether a supplier, buyer, QA manager or in marketing.
