The American Peanut Council administers a broad-based export development program for the U.S. peanut industry with the objective of increasing exports of U.S. grown peanuts and peanut products abroad.
The APC Export Division is the industry governing body for the development and implementation of international programs.
Countries where APC is currently managing export programs include Canada, Mexico, Japan and the EU (plus Norway and Switzerland). In addition, the American Peanut Council manages "Peanut Butter for the Hungry" an initiative that promotes the use of peanut-based ready-to-use therapeutic food to treat malnourished children around the world.
The U.K. office of the APC manages promotional programs in Europe.
