Vice President of Communications

Tracy leads APC's communications, marketing and member engagement activities. Her portfolio includes oversight of APC's brand and communications across all of the organization's programs, meetings and services; member and stakeholder engagement to raise industry awareness of APC; crisis management communications with media and the industry; and supporting The Peanut Research Foundation and the American Peanut Research and Education Society, both under APC's purview. Her responsibilities include developing and leading member-driven communications, media relations, social media, APC's web sites, and working with industry groups on coordinated communications initiatives.

With substantial experience as a communications leader in agriculture, including 11 years at the American Farm Bureau Federation and communications positions at the U.S. Apple Association, the National Corn Growers Association and the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, Tracy has also led advocacy communications for the Edison Electric Institute and the Retirement Security Initiative. She holds a Master of Science degree in Political Management from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Charleston, W.V.
